Who is responsible for your information?

Hello to Hola is operated by Carlos Cabrera, an independent language professional based in Barcelona, Spain. You can contact Carlos at carlos@carlostranslates.com.

What information may be collected?

If you book through the embedded Calendly calendar, you may provide your name, email address, time zone, scheduling preferences, and answers to booking questions. If you email directly, the information in your message will also be received.

The hosting and scheduling providers may process technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, and cookie information under their own privacy terms.

Why is it used?

Your information is used to respond to you, arrange or manage a lesson, understand what you’d like to learn, provide requested services, and meet legal or administrative obligations. The usual legal basis is taking steps at your request before a service, performing a service agreement, legitimate administrative interests, or consent where required.

Which services receive data?

This site is hosted through Cloudflare Pages and uses Calendly for scheduling. Those providers may process data needed to deliver their services. Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

How long is information kept?

Information is kept only for as long as it’s reasonably needed for scheduling, teaching, recordkeeping, legal requirements, or resolving a question. It’s then deleted or securely anonymized where appropriate.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to request data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

To make a request, email carlos@carlostranslates.com. You may also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or your local supervisory authority.

Cookies and embedded content

Hello to Hola doesn’t currently use its own advertising or analytics cookies. The embedded Calendly calendar may use cookies or similar technologies needed for scheduling and its own service operation. You can open Calendly in a separate tab if you prefer.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site or its services change. The current version and date will remain available on this page.
